Aeronautics Test Center of Toulouse

Access to the administrative building is announced by the verticality and monumental repetitiveness of a canopy structure that forms a sunshade.

Inside the building, the restitution of two orthogonal patterns present in the layout of the CEAT grounds, resulted in a triangular floor plan for the access hallways. These spacious, well-lit areas contribute to the conviviality and synergy between the different departments. The entrance hall, via a prism of bolted glass suspended from the passageway linking the two wings, invokes the main qualities which have contributed to C.E.A.T.’s reputation: rigor and mastery of cutting-edge technologies (aeronautics and space testing).

The classic construction is enclosed in aluminum/glass screen walls, combining glued and framed glass with opaque enamel aprons and "cloud" silk-screened glass on the campus side. On the patio side, the aprons and casements use transparent colored glass.
