High environmental quality (H.E.Q.) science and technology cluster - Albi

This ambitious program to create an eco-responsible technology park (with energy performance exceeding the BBC standard) enabled us to capitalize on all the experience acquired through diverse industrial and service programs in order to offer functional, upgradeable facilities that are extremely simple to operate.

he architectural project is based on the creation of synergy between research and industrial production and high environmental expectations. Opting for a satellite layout around the services and reception hub translates the real, practical application of knowledge, services and buildings.

The entire building reflects these high aspirations with interior wood paneling, natural lighting, user comfort, accessibility to services, etc.

The frame, combining wood and extra-insulated metal gives high energy efficiency. Making the most of a southern exposure and extensively using photo-voltaic systems results in a positive energy building.
